French law requires a mandatory 15-day reflection period between receipt of the signed quotation and any aesthetic surgical procedure.
What is the difference between a plastic surgeon and a cosmetic surgeon in France?+
In France, the only legally recognised qualification to perform aesthetic surgery is the D.E.S.C. in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery — a five-year post-residency specialisation. This distinguishes fully trained plastic surgeons from practitioners who perform cosmetic procedures without this specialist training.
