Your surgical project
Your First Consultation
The first consultation is a key moment in your surgical journey. It establishes a relationship of trust, assesses the feasibility of your project and defines together the best approach.
Dr. de Clermont-Tonnerre sees patients at his practices in Paris 16e and Pontoise. Allow approximately 45 minutes for a comprehensive exchange.
How it works
5 Steps to Your Surgery
Booking your appointment
Book your consultation online via Doctolib or by phone. Choose the practice most convenient for you (Paris 16e or Pontoise). When booking, briefly indicate the nature of your enquiry so the team can adjust the appointment duration if needed.
The consultation (45 minutes)
Dr. de Clermont-Tonnerre receives you in his practice. He listens to your project, performs a morphological assessment, and explains the possible techniques, recovery process and expected outcomes. Photographs may be taken with your consent to document your medical file.
Information & personalised written quotation
At the end of the consultation, a detailed, personalised surgical quotation is provided. It itemises the surgeon's fees, anaesthetist fees and clinic costs for full transparency. This quotation complies with French legal requirements and is valid for 4 months.
Mandatory reflection period (minimum 15 days)
French law requires an non-negotiable reflection period of 15 days from the date of signing the quotation. This period protects patients and cannot be shortened under any circumstances, even at your request. It gives you time to reflect and consult those close to you.
Decision & scheduling
After the reflection period, if you confirm your decision, a surgical date is scheduled in consultation with you. Pre-operative tests are prescribed, and you will meet the anaesthetist at least 48 hours before the procedure.
