Labia Minora Reduction and Reshaping — Paris 16th & Pontoise
Labiaplasty corrects hypertrophy of the labia minora when they cause functional discomfort during physical activity, when wearing fitted clothing, or in intimate life. It can also address an aesthetic concern. Performed on an outpatient basis by Dr. de Clermont-Tonnerre in a respectful and confidential setting, it offers natural and lasting results.

How the Procedure Works
Consultation and pre-operative photographs
Comprehensive assessment, discussion of objectives, choice of technique (linear or wedge), standardised photographs and information on post-operative effects.
Local or light general anaesthesia
Depending on your preference and the amount of tissue to correct, the procedure is performed under local anaesthesia (LA) or light general anaesthesia (GA) on an outpatient basis.
Resection of excess tissue
Excess tissue is removed using the chosen technique, preserving the natural edges and sensitivity of the labia minora.
Absorbable sutures
Closure is performed with fine absorbable sutures, which dissolve on their own in 3 to 4 weeks. No suture removal needed.

Insurance Coverage
Health Insurance Coverage
Labiaplasty is not covered by health insurance when performed for aesthetic reasons. In rare situations of severe and documented functional discomfort — chronic pain during sport, disabling dyspareunia — partial coverage may be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Dr. de Clermont-Tonnerre will assist you with these steps during the pre-operative consultation.
What to expect
Expected Results
The definitive result of labiaplasty is visible at 6 months post-operatively, once swelling has completely resolved. Scars, integrated into the natural contours, become virtually invisible. Functional discomfort is relieved from complete healing. The results are durable and stable over time.
